Back in Wellington! It had a very relaxing week and a half. I ended up staying a little lnger than I had planned, since my cousin (or something like that) Paul was out of town when I first got there. I wanted to see everyone because I probably won't see them all for quite some time.
Katie was the wonderful, fun hostess I remembered, my NZ mama. I also got to know her husband, Nick, a bit better this time. Turns out, he's quite hilarious, especially when it comes to teasing his family. They never seem to get him back, though, because it's allegedly very hard to hurt his feeling (he only has one).
Natalie was my go to girl again, and I really love that girl! But this time I also got to meet her sister, Jessie, for more than a few minutes. Jessie just moved into a house with her husband, 2 dogs and 3 cats. She's younger than me and seems to have her life all sorted. Hmmmm...
And I got to spend more time with Ann and Nigel this time around. In February, with Bethany and Lily, I was busy hanging out with my friends and exploring the city. But this visit was dedicated to my family. So I spent a day as Ann's typist (which helped me, too, as I was/am rather strapped for cash). We went bowling twice. The first time I won! ...because I used the kiddy lanes. The second time I didn't fare so well. But it was still fun. And I beat Natalie and Stuart, her boyfriend, at Air Hockey, which is what really matters.
