Of course, it wasn't a five star meal, but neither was it the dry, unseasoned fare I have become sadly accustomed to. For dinner, I had braised beef with mashed potatoes and roast carrots, a chickpea curry salad, a whole wheat roll with butter, cheese and crackers, a tasty slice of raspberry glazed custard cake, and a complimentary glass of wine, followed by tea or coffee.
Time to step up, America, just sayin.
